Join the Department of Geosciences in congratulating graduate students John He and Lauren Reeher for being among the top 2-5 % of presenters that are awarded the Outstanding Student Presentation Awards (OSPAs) at the Fall AGU meeting. These awards promote, recognize and reward undergraduate, Master’s and PhD students for quality research in the geophysical sciences.
John He presented his research on "The Bidahochi Basin hypothesis: Hopi Buttes volcanics and paleolake marks location of local, small-scale lithosphere foundering and asthenosphere upwelling beneath the Colorado Plateau"
Lauren Reeher presented her research on "Deciphering Laramide Stress States Across the Colorado Plateau"
