Tristan Nolan

Research Technician

Tristan started at Laserchron in 2018, age mapping zircons from Sabino Canyon for a GEOS251 honors project, then took a part-time student position in 2019. After graduating in 2022 with a BS in Geosciences and a minor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, he became a full-time technician. Now he manages the day-to-day operations of the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Raman Spectrometer lab, where samples are imaged for visiting researchers before their ICPMS analyses, or conducted directly with the SEM or Raman. His hobbies include juggling, astrophotography, and rock tumbling.
