Graduate Assistant
Tectonics, Metamorphic Petrology, Geochronology, Geochemistry

I’m a master’s student in the Department of Geosciences, where I study tectonics through the lens of petrochronology. My research focuses on understanding the timing and conditions of metamorphism and the exhumation of deep crustal and mantle-derived rocks, using a combination of U-Pb and Lu-Hf geochronology and thermodynamic modeling. I’m particularly interested in orogenic systems with complex tectonic histories, with a regional focus on the western Mediterranean.
