John Dombrowski

John Dombrowski is Deputy General Counsel for Compliance and IP at The RealReal, the world’s largest online marketplace for authenticated resale luxury goods. He works closely with technologists and product experts in gemology, fashion, and luxury goods to develop authentication technologies and strategies in support of the business’s luxury resale platform. John is a named inventor on three issued patents, including the Carat Weight Estimation Device that employs University of Arizona-developed IP, and several more pending applications related to authentication and automation. He received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
