Guy Ben-Dor
I am a postdoctoral researcher in geophysics at the University of Arizona. My research focuses on tectonics, crustal deformation, seismic imaging, and numerical simulations of seismic-wave propagation. During my doctoral research at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and the Geological Survey of Israel, I examined the crustal structure and seismic response of tectonically complex regions along the Dead Sea Fault system, focusing on a variety of transtensional and transpressional structures in this region. Outside of research, I enjoy playing the flute, long-distance running, and practicing yoga.
