Dr. Simone Runyon

Simone Runyon received her MS and PhD in Geosciences from the University of Arizona in 2013 and 2017 respectively.

Simone is an economic geologist with expertise in hydrothermal systems. She graduated from the University of Arizona, Department of Geosciences with a PhD in 2017. She was later a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Geophysical Laboratory between 2017-2018 before becoming an Assistant Professor at the University of Wyoming in 2017. She is currently working for Freeport McMoRan in Tucson, since 2022.
