Dr. Lisa Park Boush

Lisa Park Boush received her PhD (1995) and MS (1991), from the University of Arizona in Geosciences; Minor: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the Department of Geosciences. She is currently the Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Affairs, College of liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Lisa also is a professor at the University of Connecticut in Professional Development. Her research focuses on questions related to the reconstruction of past climate history and its impact on coastal and large lake ecosystems. The past 19 years she has been working in the Bahamas reconstructing high resolution records of climatological and anthropogenically-driven environmental change for the past 6,000 years. She is also involved in the Lake Tanganyika Drilling Project.

Lisa joined the board in 2021.
