Research interests:

I am a postdoctoral researcher who works with Prof. Susan Beck. My research interests include using seismic records to study environmental changes. I used seismic noise to estimate relative seismic velocity changes, which can be induced by temperature, pressure, and water saturation near the Earth’s surface. My study cases included monitoring seasonal fluctuations and long-term trends of ice sheets melting, groundwater changes, and seafloor responses. I currently belong to the NewFoS project at UArizona. I am utilizing seismic noise to implement novel topological acoustic sensing on environmental perturbations.
