Geosciences graduate student Alex Gorr recently won (1st place!) in the Grad Slam 2022 Themed Award (Best Video Recorded Presentation): Inspired by initiatives such as Ted Talk, Grad Slam is a campus-wide competition for the best 3-minute graduate student presentation of a research or creative project explained for general audience.
