Diane Thompson Receives NSF CAREER Award

Dr. Diane Thompson received the NSF CAREER Award for her project titled, "Climate-change vulnerability in the Marshall Islands: learning from the past & inspiring a new future." The grant will provide about $900,000 over the next 5 years to support the lab's ongoing research on the impacts of climate change in the Marshall Islands.  This project will also bring Marshallese, Biosphere 2, and TUSD educators together to develop innovative education programs to inspire solutions for coral reefs and low-lying nations.  Read the public abstract here.
