Association of Women Geoscientists (AWG) Introduces New Field Camp Scholarship

The Southern Arizona chapter of the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG) has created a new scholarship to help cover the cost of field camp for undergraduate students in the Geosciences department. Fieldwork is often considered a fundamental part of geoscience education but the financial burden of field camp can be a barrier to participation in geosciences.
The national AWG Foundation has generously agreed to match donations up to $500. Please consider supporting this scholarship fund, as it has an immense impact on the experiential education of Geosciences students.
