I am currently a Ph. D. student advised by Dr. Kaustubh Thirumali. My primary interests include high latitude planktic foraminiferal ecology and geochemistry and paleoceanography. My work is broken into two parts: understanding modern populations of polar foraminifera and examining paleoceanographic change spatially in the Arctic during warm and transitional periods in the Quaternary. Focusing on Arctic climate provides a unique opportunity to work towards merging climate and social sciences. I hope to continue to promote intersectionality within my career, starting with completing a minor in the Indige-FEWSS program here at the university.
