NEW ZEALANDER COMING TO U.S. - A few extra copies of the two papers
by Lucy M.Cranwell of The Auckland Institute and Museum
which are cited in the bibliography have been received at
Oberlin for distribution. Requests addressed to the editor will be
filled as long as the supply lasts. In her letter, Mrs. Cranwell
Smith writes: "I have yet to print the second part of 'Pollen
Studies' and when this is available, I shall send you further
copies."
"I have been very interested in the new Pollen Analysis
circulars and wish you good luck with them."
"I Hope to come to the U.S. soon, so please let me know if
you would like any N. Z. pollen slides. I married a Major
Samuel W. Smith of Peabody Museum, Cambridge, and am happy to
report that he, too, is most interested in peat and pollen work,
being an archaeologist himself and very friendly with Ernst
